Good laptop to get for school?

I looked around on dell.ca too , trying to keep it under 1k and they don't have any 15'' Laptops with an i5 processor, only core 2 :/

If it's actually >>For school<< then that's waaaaaaaaaaaay more than enough. You could probably even do some decent gaming on that, not something like crysis, but some smaller games would run nicely.

Well it's not gonna be all for school, i will def start playing more PC games if it can handle the better graphics. Talking about school i just meant good battery life, good size to work with and can handle the programs and stuff :D.

It was a last minute gift for my graduation. So I didn't pay anything and I wouldn't play any games on this laptop. Thats why I own a ps3

Yeah, but i would get an ipad. I thought it was dumb at first until i actually got to use it. The touchscreen is amazzing on it

I wouldn't trust hp in my opinion. I bought a laptop from them 2 years ago and it broke down 3xs. It had the same problem it would just not turn on for some reason. This also happened to my cousin who bought a touchscreen laptop from them and the touchscreen kept messing up and it wouldn't get wi fi for some reason. So you would have to use an ethernet cord which is annoying if you have a laptop. And he did the same thing he sent it back and it was broken within a month or so.

I've never had a problem with HP :/ I'd actually recommend them.
