Well If I mount the iso to the drive then my burning software will think I have an actual copy of the movie. But I can only mount iso's. So in order for me to make an iso I need to have a disc with the avi on it and I'm not gonna waste a dvd

Because I cant get my regular burning software to work so I have to use this piece of shit one. So I guess for it to work it has to be in iso. Unless you know a good dvd burning software? (other than nero)

i think i know what your saying.
you want an iso file with ur dvd you can mount and you don't want to make a disk
if thats right use nero vision and when you get to the part that says burn, burn it to the image recorder then youve got an iso with ur avi
but if i was you ill'd just watch the avi on the vlc player

No I want an iso so I can make a copy of a dvd because I can't get nero to add my avi to the burnlist. So it's asking me to insert my dvd into my disk drive. But if I had an iso of my movie I could just mount it and copy it that way. But I tried to use Nero vision and it figured out that I had a pirated copy and now that program won't open unless I register.
