Can anyone point me in the direction of a good tutorial for putting cfw on a psp 3000 (with the latest ofw)? I told one of my friends I'd do it for him. But I'm not quite sure how to do it on a 3000. It's one of the older models though. I heard you can't hack the newish 3000. Anyway. Can't seem to find any good tut's on youtube on how to do it. Nobody goes in depth these days I swear. I give some rep hungry user some rep if they show me how... :)

If it's 5.03 or below it's currently possible. If higher, there's no published working exploit, so, not possible.

Nobody Can Download A 3000 Not Unless You Have Chickhen , 5.03 , Or CFW....If You Have CFW Den Get Watever Thing To Downgrade it....Except Hellcats Flasher Thing...

i would like to make an addition to this. IF THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN HACK YOUR PSP IS THROUGH CHICKHEN OR SOME OTHER 5.03 EXPLOIT, DO NOT USE HELLCAT'S RECOVERY FLASHER. YOU WILL BRICK YOUR PSP IN A WAY THAT CAN NOT BE FIXED.

yep and chickenhen is temperiarly but once you get that you can nstall m33 then gen and so on
exploit frezees the system inserts a malicious code like hacking the wii and yea understand?

you cant downgrade if you tried you will brick, even if your on chicken hen or gen 5.03
