There isn't any required post count for applying, or anything of the sort.
Although users are expected to be active BEFORE applying rather than making promises saying they're going to be active :)

This is NOT a general application for the GFx team that anybody can jump into, saying, "Oh, I want to be on the team too." No. This was Mrr3mix's app. Just for him. Poisonflame, I know you have already been warned about advertising your work in other people's threads. Stop. If you feel that you have the potential to make the GFx team, and you have fulfilled all the requirements to apply, make your own application, and the GFx staff will review it. But do not hijack someone else's application.
