Today i caved in and bought a PSPgo. my psp-3000 is broken, so i figured that it would be pretty sweet to have a pspgo (regardless of what people say, i personally it looks pretty sweet). I went out and bought it, and on the box, it says that it comes with a voucher for a special version of Rock Band Unplugged made for the PSPgo. sweet. I get my psp all charged up, and go to the playstation store, enter the code, and can't help but laugh at the sorry attempt Sony has made at persuading people to buy the go. it's not a special version at all! its Rock Band Unplugged LITE. its funny because when i saw that little label on the corner of the box and read it, thats what i thought to myself. but its not funny anymore because i fell for it.

That's not all. i read the other day that sony was having a "rewards program" that allows you to download 3 free games if you have another psp and a UMD. Well, thats just for Europe. fuck me in the ass. i also read that if you buy a pspgo and download the Gran Turismo theme, you will get a download voucher for a full version of the game. That's only in europe too. Fuck me in the ass. i was expecting to have a bunch of games that could entertain me until i get paid next and can afford to buy some more cool ones. nope. I have a Patapon 2 demo, Rock Band Lite, and if i can find the email address i downloaded SFCO with, ill have that too.


I was thinking if I make a european account I might be able to log in with that and get the free games, but i dont know if thatll work. I don't know if PAL and NTSC matter for downloaded games, or if its only for discs. whatever. i guess i'll just kill myself.

That's so dumb, who wants that seriously, just throw all your PSP games away and your wallet while you're at it if you buy this shit.

well i only had two games. now that i think about it, thats kinda funny. ive had a psp for 3 years, and only owned 2 games.

they originally planned to let you convert your UMDs into games, but i guess they scrapped that idea a week ago or so and i didnt hear about it.

i managed to get my 3000 [barely] working/put back together, so now im trying to work on getting the free stuff.

Rofl, nice edit. Yeah... I have like 11 PSP games lol(actual UMDs), I used to buy a lot, and still have bought after getting Custom Firmware.

and i can't even get SFCO to work because I downloaded that on a different PSN ID than the one i have on my PSP, so it wont allow it. I sent a message to customer service, but i don't know if theyll help.

i found out that i had the original syphon filter, Spyro, and Echochrome though so i have those on there now. And Rock Band lite only has 5 songs. the fact that you can pause a game, go to the xmb, and then resume the game from the same point is pretty sweet though. i came when i figured out you can use a ps3 controller to play too.
