Free MegaUpload Premium

Here's a little [TUT] on how to get free MegaUpload Premium for 6 hours a day.
Many people know but unfortunately some don't, so education time =]
Please note this is NOT done with an application or some stupid link generator.
This is real free premium offered by MegaUpload.

First of all go to http://www.megaupload.com
In the top left corner, press "Free Membership" to register an account, it's fast and easy. Just this allows you to cut your wait times from 45 seconds down to 25 seconds, and lets you download more a day.

Next, you must download the MegaUpload Toolbar.

Download it and install it.
Here's What it looks like.

Now to activate it, (Times Will Be Posted Below) Log in to your account.
Now click on the HAPPY HOUR PREMIUM tab, it will become orange at the times you can press it.
If you don't see the tab, first press the little Premium Star towards the left. Then Click the Happy Hour Premium like mentioned above.

Congratz! You Now Have Free Premium!

The Happy Hour Premium Times are between: (Notice: Times are for Canada/U.s)
9pm & 3am East
6pm & 12am Pacific
8pm & 2am Central

1)Go to http://www.megaupload.com and register.
2)Download and install the MU Toolbar

Anyway if you have firefox 3.0, this won't work, the toolbar isnt compatible, so use internet explorer, or the old firefox.

What do you mean? It's not something they don't know...
They OFFER the free premium....

RS sucks, they limit your speeds so much, I get 1.3mb/s for MU, for RS i get like 80kb/s and it pauses every few seconds, it's stupid.

Nice tut, But shouldn't you edit the & to a - because its really from 9pm to 3am (East). That & sign is making it look like only 9PM and 3AM are the only happy hours that you can get premium.

No it says at the top the times are between
X & Y time

also RS sucks for me it goes at most like 70 kb/s. MU goes like at most 800 kb/s but mostly like 500's. Once it got up to 1 mb for me i was so happy but it was only for a second. And LUCKY u get 1.3 mb/s argh..

I know this pics big... sorry but i need to point out something. Since 2009 (about that time), Megaupload changed their megaupload happy hour premium. It's now only 2 hours on weekdays only via mega manger at 9 am - 11 AM UTC. Meaning the toolbar is useless now, i tried and it didn't work. Now wth is UTC? You may ask. Well you have to convert UTC to GMT to find out the time on your local time.

So when you subtract the hours here's what you get:

PST - 1 AM - 3 AM >
CST - 3 AM - 5 AM > MEGAUPLOAD HAPPY HOUR BLOWS NOW!
EST - 4 AM - 6 AM >

I was doing some reading, turns out it still works with the toolbar so you don't NEED mega manager.
Same times as posted by armed ^
